West Coast Swing Workshops with
Eddie & Adela
Saturday, October 20, 2018
Hosted by Sapphire Ballroom at 30 W Main Street, Suite C, Christiansburg, Va.
Minimum enrollment required, so please reserve your spot today!
Schedule - Saturday, October 20, 2018
4 - 5 pm ~ Technique Tune-Up
We'll tune up your WCS foundations and make sure your technique is in tip top shape!
Only a minimum of previous experience is required for this workshop. So, as long as you know Sugar Push and both Side Passes, even if you're just getting to know WC, come on out. Already feel like you've mastered the basics? Come anyway - you know that there are always more ways to improve.
5 - 6 pm ~ Rock & Roll
The spinning side pass (aka - Inside Roll) is a staple of WCS. We'll make sure yours is rock solid, review spin technique, and go over some fun variations.
This is an intermediate level class - you must know your basics, plus the whip, and be familiar with the Inside Roll.
There will be a half hour social dance/practice time after the workshops.
Sign up by Tuesday, October 16, to get these excellent prices!
Each Workshop: $17 per person ($12 for Full-Time Students)
Both Workshops: $30 per person ($20 for Full-Time Students)

About the Instructors
Eddie and Adela met dancing locally in 2005, got married in 2006, and have been dancing their way through marriage and life ever since!
Eddie started dancing as a youngster doing East Coast Swing with his parents, and learned West Coast Swing in 2005.
Adela started partner dancing in the early 1990's, doing Country Two-Step, eventually learning other partner dance styles with West Coast Swing becoming her favorite.
Together, Eddie and Adela have been teaching as couple since 2006. They teach regularly in Charlottesville (their home base) and Richmond at events such as group workshops, pre-dance lessons, private lessons and more recently, hosting a monthly drills class.
Eddie and Adela have been competing in West Coast Swing for about ten years and travel across the country to attend weekend dance events. They compete at the Advanced level and in the Sophisticated (35+) age division for Jack & Jills (random partner) and Strictly Swings (chosen partner). Adela also enjoys competing in the Masters (50+) divisions and as an Intermediate level Leader, as well. They take private lessons and group workshops with the top international pros to keep up with current trends and to improve their own dancing/teaching, and love bringing back their knowledge and experiences to share with dancers at home.
