It’s time to search in the back of your closet, find some odds and ends, and throw together an awesome, fun Halloween costume for our Monster Bash Dance Party on Saturday, October 12. Our next session of Blacksburg Group Classes will be getting started at the end of the month. We’ve got a bit of Latin, a bit of Swing, and a bit of Ballroom - so no matter your preference, there’s something for you. If you’re brand new to dancing, we’d suggest the Fox Trot class Wednesdays at 7:00, but don’t let my opinion limit you if you want to try one of the others!| 3 - Upper Level Workshops & Classes - WCS, ECS, Fox Trot, & Quickstep |
West Coast Swing and Fox Trot workshops will fill Monday nights at 8pm in October and into November with treat and tricks, http://www.sapphiredance.com/int-adv-wksp.php. These workshops are a great way to add some spirit to your dancing and learn a challenging and useful pattern in that one dance style. On Friday nights, we’ve got a Level 4 East Coast Swing happening - that’s just awesomeness waiting to happen. It’s starting October 25 at 7:00, in Sapphire Studio A (that’s the new studio). Join in, if you’re In The Mood, 'cause it’s gonna be classic. Finally, get your feet moving - quick! - it’s time for Quickstep! Starting in November, we will be holding a 4 week Quickstep Variations class, sure to get you flying around the dancefloor. Our Variation classes have been a popular way to go into more depth with your favorite dance styles. If you don’t have the prerequisites for this class, check with your instructor to get a few lessons so you can get ready. If you are taking classes, workshops, or private lessons with us, if you are looking for a sweet place to dance the night away, if you just learned an awesome new move or just how to move, you need to check out these sweet Friday night Dance JAMs. They are a great place to take the moves you are working on and practice them on a social dance floor. With a more intimate environment and a focus on fewer dance styles you will get to have all the fun of a social dance with the freedom to practice and hash out your new moves. 
I know, I know….it’s only October. But we also know that Christmas shopping , Christmas parties, and all things holiday has already crossed many of your minds (or will soon).
