It's what Snow White danced with Prince Florian "Once Upon a Dream," and what Cinderella danced with Prince Charming as they realized "This Is Love." Waltz is one of the oldest dance styles we teach, steeped in misty romance. Its relatively simple step pattern and sweeping music give it a timeless appeal that will continue to glide across the floor for many decades into the future. Slow Waltz (as opposed to Viennese Waltz, Fast Waltz, or Varsovienne Waltz) is a great dance for absolute beginners. Waltz sweeps onto Friday nights starting this Friday at 7:00pm. Each week starts from the beginning, so don't worry if you can't make them all!

MORE
Cuban Dance with Nilda Guerra
Fridays, 5:30-6:30pm
June 6 - July 18
$25/person/lesson
More delightful adventure is on the horizon! Last month, Nilda introduced many of us to the wide and exciting world of Cuban dance, touching on Salsa, Pilon, Cha Cha Cha, Rueda, and more. Now she's offering a 6-class series exploring those dances and more. This will not be your frantic Salsa lesson at the local dance bar, but rather a full-on cultural immersion with a talented and charismatic guide to lead you on a journey of discovery into the world of “Cubanismo”, the essence of Cuba. We hope you will join us for some good fun, great music, and hot dancing. Class will skip Friday, July 4.

Sapphire's group classes and workshops are always small, low stress, and fun. They are a great way to meet other people who have also decided to learn to dance, as well as get to know our teaching staff. It doesn't take any long-term investment to get started, no special clothing or shoes - just something comfortable to wear and a sense of adventure. So, take the plunge and try it out.
Thanks for reading; we hope you found something you liked. Until we see you again, happy dancing!
