We're going wild for Latin this weekend
|

Learn to Bachata at our
Friday Beginner Workshops
May 30, June 6, & June 13
$9/person
Want to Salsa, but think that crazy speed might be too much to tackle? Try Bachata! Bachata is Salsa's friendlier cousin. You'll find them together at most Latin dance clubs, but while Salsa is loud and flashy (and fun if you're up for it), Bachata is more chill and groovy. It has a similar rhythm, but not so fast: lots of spins but not so crazy. It's a great dance to learn on, and can be used with traditional Bachata music or with lots of classic rock, modern pop, and even country music. Bachata spins into action this Friday, June 30, but don't worry if you can't make it. We'll get to play on June 6 & 13 as well. Every lesson works as a stand-alone experience or as part of the group, so come as you can.
Check out the schedule of all our upcoming group lessons at SapphireDance.com/GroupLessons.php.

Advanced Line Dance
This month we will be challenging our brains and our brawns with "Call My Bluff" by Dustin Betts - one of our favorite choreographers! You might not perfect this jem of a dance in one lesson (I definitely did not), but it's worth the work! Dustin brings great musicality and funky charm together into a wonderfully challenging dance to Billie Eilish's Therefore I Am.
Check out this demo of Call My Bluff - Dustin is the tall man in front wearing a baseball cap.
Are you interested in an Intermediate Line Dance class? Let us know. We'd love to go there.

Sapphire's group classes and workshops are always small, low stress, and fun. They are a great way to meet other people who have also decided to learn to dance, as well as get to know our teaching staff. It doesn't take any long-term investment to get started, no special clothing or shoes - just something comfortable to wear and a sense of adventure. So, take the plunge and try it out.
Thanks for reading; we hope you found something you liked. Until we see you again, happy dancing!
