So you've Tangoed, Promenaded, and maybe even Fanned a time or two. Really, what is there left to learn? (Undignified snort.) There's so much more waiting for you! Zach will be guiding us on an intense exploration of intermediate and advanced concepts in American Tango, assembled into clever sequences ready for you to wow your fellow dancers. Each lesson works as a stand-alone experience, but they do get harder as they progress. Tango stalks onto Monday nights starting June 9 at 7:00pm.

Cuban Dance with Nilda Guerra

More delightful adventure is on the horizon! On Saturday Nilda introduced many of us to the wide and exciting world of Cuban dance, touching on Salsa, Pilon, Cha Cha Cha, Rueda, and more. Now she's offering a 6-class series exploring those dances and more. This will not be your frantic salsa lesson at the local dance bar, but rather a full-on cultural immersion with a talented and charismatic guide to lead you on a journey of discovery into the world of “Cubanismo”, the essence of Cuba. We hope you will join us for some good fun, great music, and hot dancing. Class will skip Friday, July 4.

Learn to dance like Jane Austen and George Washington in the comfort of your jeans and sneakers.
No experience or partner required. Costumed events available. We are skipping July because vacations are necessary.

Improve Your Balance

You will sweat; you may be sore; you will probably complain (we all do); but your balance will thank you!
No experience or fitness level required.
This class is taught remotely by Sapphire alumn Jen Gorce. Bring socks, yoga mat, hand weights if you're feeling ambitious, and a water bottle. |

Sapphire's group classes and workshops are always small, low stress, and fun. They are a great way to meet other people who have also decided to learn to dance, as well as get to know our teaching staff. It doesn't take any long-term investment to get started, no special clothing or shoes - just something comfortable to wear and a sense of adventure. So, take the plunge and try it out.
