March is winding down already, and spring is definitely here... I hope.

This month was a little less crazy than February, but we still had our share of adventures. Liz and Debbi went to a historic ball in Williamsburg.

We had a fantastic Pi Day Social that featured so many types of pie including savory pies, hand pies, classic fruit pie, and no-bake pies, plus a bunt cake. Hey - it was circular. Debbi put together a charming playlist high-lighting STEM subjects, especially math, with songs like "Take It To The Limit," "Against All Odds," and "The Circle Game." She's still looking for a version of "Miss American Pie" that works well for dancing.

We also started our annual Spring Sale on Beginner Line Dance (6 workshops for $36, more details below). And are trying to decide what to do on Monday nights in April - any thoughts?

I hope you find something in here to be excited about and that we get to see you on the dance floor soon. In the meantime, stay groovy and happy dancing!

The Swing of Spring:
We're trying something new on Friday Nights

For years our Friday night workshops have be the flexible, afordable place to start partner dancing. Every week we start at the beginning in a fun and social dance style, so you can join in on the Fridays when you can, and not worry able when you can't/. If you come every week, you get to review and practice as well as learnong something new. We are not going to change that!

Now we are going to group dance styles that have similar moves together. So, this Spring, we started March with Single Time Swing. This week we will move onto 4-Count Hustle. In April we will start Triple Time Swing, and in May look for Carolina Shag (just in time for summer). The moves you learned in Single Time will also work in Hustle. The moves you learn in Hustle, are also in Triple Time Swing. And learning that triple step in Triple Time Swing will make it so much easlier to learn Carolina Shag.

Yes, you can still join in any time. There are never prerequisites for Friday Beginnner Workshops! But now, you long term Friday-nighters will be able to grow through the whole season. We see you, and understand what you're asking for.

In the Summer, we will focus on travelling dances: Fox Trot, Waltz, Tango, Country Two-Step. As always, join in when you can. Don't stress when you can't.

Our annual Spring Line Dance Sale runs March 20 - June 20 (Spring Equinox to Summer Solstice).

As in, now, today - you can buy six BLD workshops for only $36! Share them with friends or keep them for yourself - it's up to you.

Spring Sale punch cards are good for 6 months from the time of purchase. There will be 12 Beginner Line Dance workshops in that time. You only need to make it 4 of them to be worthwhile.

The Season is upon us - flowers are blooming and grass is growing. It's time for you to get hopping!
We’ll be starting the evening with a short Fox Trot lesson: classic and cool, with just enough swagger to get the followers excited. Fox Trot is the epitime of debonair, the king of smooth. This dance is great for beginners and still so exciting for advanced dancers.

No experience or partner necessary – just bring your enthusiasm and your dancing shoes!
Bring a snack to share and earn our eternal gratitude.
