Country Two-Step

Sometimes called a "travelling Swing dance" because of its twists and turns, Country Two-Step is fast, spin-filled carnival ride of a dance. It's a fun challenge for absolute beginners and experienced dancers alike. Two-Step music is primarily fast-paced country, that includes classics like Arlo Guthry, John Denver, and Garth Brooks as well as Keith Urban, Blues Traveller, and Jimmy Buffett.

No experience needed. No partner necessary – just bring your enthusiasm and your dancing shoes.

Friday, August 14, 7pm - Country Two-Step

Friday, August 21, 7pm - Country Two-Step

Friday, August 28, 7pm - Country Two-Step

Come to one, two, or all three - whatever works for your schedule. Please register by noon on the day of the workshop.

After wrapping up the summer fun with Country Two-Step, we will be switching into a Latin groove for Friday nights this Fall:

Rumba
Bachata
Salsa
Cha Cha

(in that order)
Details will be posted on our webpage soon.

Sapphire's classes, workshops, and events are always small, low stress, and fun. They are a great way to meet other people who are also learning to dance, as well as get to know our teaching staff. It doesn't take any long-term investment to get started, no special clothing or shoes - just something comfortable to wear and a sense of adventure. So, take the plunge and try it out.

Thanks for reading; we hope you found something you liked. Until we see you again, happy dancing!
